New data from Boston Agent Magazine compares Boston and national housing marketing indicators year over year ending Dec ’20.
With interest rates down more than a percent (3.73% to 2.67%), existing home sales volume was up 13% from 1,858 to 2,107 homes. Surprisingly inventory was up from 4,199 to 4,383 units, but days on market declined from 54 days to 33 days showing the average home selling nearly twice as fast year over year.
